ESTONIA
Estonia unfolds like a timeless beauty, a tapestry woven in contrast to the shadows of the past. Here, a diverse and progressive culture breathes life into values resonate deep within the heart. As I wandered through majestic landscapes, the vast pine forests and gentle whispers of the Baltic Sea embraced me. My journey to Hiiumaa, an island poised in serene anticipation of winter, gifted me solace and inspiration, leaving me humbled by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded me.

PARIS
Paris had always held a special place in my heart. I had traveled there several times, and each visit felt like coming home, surrounded by bohemia and the arts. I loved spending my evenings in tabac bars and cafés, indulging in the vibrant Parisian scene and engaging in deep conversations. My passion for poetry inspired me to capture those experiences through a series of photographs and illustrations that reflected my connection to this beautiful city.
PARTISANS
I have a strong interest in World War II, and one of the movements that inspires me is the Partisan movement in Paris. I find the idea of people standing up to oppression incredibly moving. During the dark times of Nazi occupation, French citizens risked their own lives and the lives of their loved ones to oppose a greater evil. In response, I completed set of illustrations reflecting this courageous spirit
Les Allemands e’taient chez moi,
ils me dirent, “Signe toi,”
mais je n’ai pas peur;
j’ai repris mon arme.
J’ai change’ cent fois de nom,
j’ai perdu femme et enfants
mais j’ai tant d’amis;
j’ai la France entie`re.
Un vieil homme dans un grenier
pour la nuit nous a cache’,
les Allemands l’ont pris;
il est mort sans surprise.

In my work, I have always found the portrait and form to be a strong focal point. My subjects change and differ, much like the outcomes of my pieces. I reflect on my own personal relationships with each person and strive to deliver a haunting sensitivity that evokes and challenges the soul.
